Mr. David Garcés is an Ecuadorian attorney in the Firm’s Quito office.
Mr. Garcés focuses his practice on advising U.S. and Latin American clients on international negotiations, cross-border litigation, and local transactions. He has experience in, corporate law, transactions, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, e-commerce, family law, probate, and international law. Mr. Garcés regularly advises Ecuadorian and international clients on Ecuadorian family law, probate, and real estate issues. In addition, he has served as an expert on Ecuadorian law, providing declarations used in federal court litigation.
Prior to joining the Firm’s Quito office in 2011, Mr. Garcés worked at the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office for six years working on personal injury cases, international human rights cases and complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2006, Mr. Garcés practiced as a commercial, civil and corporate attorney, primarily working on foreign investment matters, at a firm in Quito, Ecuador. While there, Mr. Garcés advised foreign clients with legal needs concerning contracts, public agencies, and international business.
