Conrad & Scherer Announces Janine R. McGuire as Partner

Conrad & Scherer is proud to announce the promotion of Janine R. McGuire to Partner at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. In 2022, Janine was honored as a Girl Scouts “Lead the Way, Inspirational Woman of Broward County” by the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. Additionally, Janine is the Chairperson and Lead of the Conrad & Scherer Pathways to Careers in Law program, a partnership with NSU Shepard Broad College of Law and Fort Lauderdale High School. Janine R. McGuire is a partner in the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Janine’s practice areas include commercial litigation, trust & probate litigation, appellate practice as well as others. She provides key litigation strategy and support for a diverse clientele throughout all stages of litigation.

Janine’s focus on estate and trust litigation involves many issues, including family businesses, fiduciary duties, tax law, bankruptcy, real estate and creditor’s rights. She works extensively with trustees, personal representatives and other agents through probate administration to settle a decedent’s debts and to pass property held solely in their name to heirs and beneficiaries.

Her extensive experience in appellate law provides insight throughout the litigation process during the trial court stages to ensure that appellate rights are preserved with a proper and compelling record should an appeal be necessary.

Janine has practiced within many areas of law and advocates with strength, competency and efficiency to represent her clients.
