Hey there, this is Brad Meltzer, the author of The Ordinary People Change the World Book Series. The series that we started because I wanted to give my kids better heroes to look up to heroes who would teach them kindness and compassion, perseverance. And I’m excited because you’re about to learn about Oprah Winfrey.

I’m Oprah Winfrey is a book I wrote, I wanted my daughters and sons, to see what a great female business woman looks like, but also to teach them that the only thing you ever need to be in life is yourself, that’s all you ever need to be.
