David Gunion is an Associate Attorney at Conrad & Scherer, where he applies his analytical skills and legal acumen to manage complex commercial litigation. With a Master’s in German Language, Literature, and Culture and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, David brings a unique perspective and thorough approach to his work.

David is a member of a national litigation team advocating on behalf of over twenty Florida hospitals against harms perpetrated by various participants and companies active in the national opioid supply chain, including manufacturers, distributors, and retail pharmacies. David works with the Conrad & Scherer case development team to advance the factual and legal claims brought by these Florida hospitals. His role requires precise coordination and effective collaboration, in addition to the ability to analyze and organize complex information.

David’s litigation experience encompasses multiple stages, from initial consultations through to trial preparation, where he plays an instrumental role in gathering and examining evidence, drafting persuasive arguments, and supporting trial attorneys in advocacy. Under the mentorship of accomplished appellate practitioners, David is developing his skills to provide clients with continuity and strategic insight across all stages of litigation.

Beyond trial advocacy, David supports and volunteers at The Pantry of Broward, a nonprofit providing nutritional services and resources to senior citizens across Broward County. Additionally, David actively participates in Conrad & Scherer’s community initiatives, particularly the firm’s Pathways to Careers in Law Program in partnership with Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. His community contributions are integral to Conrad & Scherer’s commitment to social responsibility and educational outreach.
