Carla C. Pacheco is an Associate Attorney at Conrad & Scherer with experience in civil, commercial, and construction litigation, including complex matters involving extensive document review, discovery, motion practice, hearings, and case analysis. She is currently part of the firm’s team handling the ongoing Lennar Homes litigation, where her work has included reviewing and analyzing substantial case records and supporting litigation strategy development.
Prior to joining Conrad & Scherer as an Associate Attorney, Carla worked in senior litigation review roles supporting complex commercial litigation, regulatory matters, and government investigations. Her experience includes managing document review workflows, conducting privilege and responsiveness review, preparing privilege logs and factual case summaries, and assisting with evidence development and investigative support. In 2024, she received the HG Superstar Award for her work on a Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering matter.
Carla has also managed civil matters from inception through final judgment, appearing in court proceedings, hearings, calendar calls, and negotiations. Her experience includes representing institutional clients and reviewing legal work product for accuracy and compliance with applicable state and federal law.
Carla earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Ariana Fajardo Orshan of Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit and participated in the Immigrant Children’s Justice Clinic, Community Law Teaching program, and Intramural Negotiations Competition.
