Michael Shalom Doar serves as General Counsel at Conrad & Scherer, where he oversees the firm’s legal affairs and transactional matters. He brings a broad transactional, regulatory and business-focused background to the firm.

Michael has nearly a decade of government experience, having served as an attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration and as an advisor to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. In these roles, he helped empower businesses through secured lending, government contracts and procurement.

Before government service, Michael began his career at a major Florida law firm, where he represented public companies and startups in purchases and sales of businesses, capital raises and regulatory compliance matters involving securities and healthcare. He also gained exposure to entertainment, trademark and copyright matters while clerking for a nationally-recognized entertainment law firm in New York.

Michael’s experience across the private and public sectors allows him to bridge the gap between business and the law. Through a practical, plain-English approach, he simplifies complexity, identifies risk and helps businesses move forward with clarity and confidence.
